HUGO de Martin Scorsese y la cinta muda francesa THE ARTIST, son las películas con mayor número de nominaciones para la edición número 84 de los premios Oscar  de la ACADEMIA DE CIENCIAS Y ARTES CINEMATOGRAFICAS DE HOLLYWOOD.

Esta mañana fue realizada la ceremonia donde se dieron a conocer oficialmente todos los nominados, que competirán por la famosa estatuilla el próximo 26 e febrero.

HUGO, la película familiar en 3D de MARTIN SCORSESE obtuvo 11 nominaciones, convirtiéndose en la favorita, pero en reñida competencia con THE ARTIST, dirigida por el francés MICHEL HAZANAVICUS, que ya obtuvo un Globo de Oro y el Premio del Sindicato de Productores de Estados Unidos.
